The lens is in great conditions and full working order. The optics are clean and there are no scratches on the glass elements and no tear and wear on the body.
I have been using it with good results on a Sony A7III body with the Sigma MC-11 adapter.

The date code is UY, which indicates the lens is from 2010.
You can find older copies for sale at a lower price, but be careful: you cannot assess the conditions of the AF motor or other internal components. This is especially true if you buy from professionals, who have taken tens of thousands of photos with the lens.
