Precious tropical hardwood bead from the Eastern part of the State of Amazonia in Amazonas. Muirapiranga is a very special hardwood. It has an deep structured red colour and it is a very hard wood. Mostly used for smaller fine inlay, this is one the most beautiful woods in the world. Not very well known and used because the wood contain counter growth, which means that the ores or structure runs in opposite direction and this makes it impossible to use in fine furniture for example.
